In the 1990's, she learned about Feng Shui and how that practice creates a harmonious, more meaningful, and purposeful spatial design.
As a sandwiched family caregiver, Ardith learned also how to make those she cares for and about to live a better quality life within their homes. This sensitivity has led Ardith to pursue learning more about creating a safe and better design, floor plan and lifestyle for those living with medical, psychological and emotional challenges. This led her to receive specialized training on moving the elderly population, in specific. In February of 2009 she attended the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) Conference in New Orleans to find out even more of this ever growing population.
With over thirty years experience in design, she has enhanced her expertise as a lifestyle designer, color consultant and Feng Shui practioner. Ardith created Healing Spaces in 2004. This opened up opportunities to assist both residential and commercial clients. At that time she joined the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO).
Ardith is highly aware of how an environment impacts health, emotions, well-being, and mood, and her purpose is to improve all of them through her work. She plans to continue learning and sharing information with others about living within the best four walls one possibly can by updating this website with unique pages and sharing photographs of projects on the portfolio page along with writing and offering workshops and lectures.
Ardith lives on Buzzard's Bay in MA along with her husband and 3 small dogs in a home that she designed to support 3 generations at one time. It is surrounded by gardens and nature, which she adores.
